Behind the scenes Broadway

Every Little Step is a new documentary by James D. Stern and Adam Del Deo. It will be the first behind-the-scenes look at Broadway. Filmed in 1974, a choreographer (Michael Bennett) taped dancers as they auditioned for a part. Over 12 hours backstage they talk about sexuality, career struggles and a medley of other things.

No word yet on why it’s taken 30 years to release this, but the conversations apparently birthed  “A Chorus Line”.

Opens May 29 at The Cumberland in Toronto, Tinseltown in Vancouver and AMC Forum in Montreal.
